How We Work
One-time fee structure There is no unpleasant surprises when it comes to our professional fee. The client always knows what they are going to pay for our services. The fee that a client is quoted is the fee they will pay. We also understand the difficulty new migrants may have with an up-front payment so interest-free installment plans are available. While additional expenditures, such as translation of documents, may be unavoidable, we are happy to offer our clients a competitive rate for translations of documents or for our clients to find their own translator.
File updates When a new client comes to us, they are given a convenient “Client File” folder, which they can use for storage of all documents relevant to their application. Clients are encouraged to bring this folder with them to every appointment. We will send updates of all correspondence and documents to our clients, so the client always has an idea of the status of his or her application. We know that migration is a big step for most people and wish to keep our clients involved in their own case. As we believe that this is an integral part of the application process. We also find that email is a most effective form of communication.
Complete case management We know how difficult and sometimes frustrating the management of an application can be. Often a person has no time to follow the deadlines, make the necessary phone calls and keep track of all relevant correspondence. Most of our clients are new migrants with limited English ability and little idea how to deal with official institutions. We also know, from our experience, that every application involves extensive paperwork, telephone conversations and strict time constraints. How can one expect a recent or potential migrant to prepare and go through with an application with no assistance? We don’t. Instead, we offer our clients a complete case management service. We take care of all correspondence, we review the information, do the research if necessary and manage the application right to obtaining the visa label in the client’s passport. We always keep our clients up-to-date with the progress of their application so they can feel confident that everything is being done to obtain their visa as quickly as possible. Bring your visa query to us and we will take care of the rest.
24-hour assistance We understand that not every client can be reached during the normal business hours ; many have businesses or jobs of their own. In fact, most of our clients reside in different time zones. At IMMICON, should you have any questions, you can always contact the agent handling your case on a mobile telephone number at any time of the day.
Why use a migration agent?
- We use our knowledge and expertise to provide advice on the most appropriate visa for your situation.
- We provide you with a checklist of forms and documents that are required for your application
- We assist you in completing the forms and review the documents you provide and the application as a whole to make sure it meets the requirements.
- We can certify documents and assist with obtaining translations, statutory declarations and other document requirements for your application.
- We write a submission letter showing how you meet the requirements of the visa and lodge the application with the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC)
- We follow up the processing of the application with DIAC to ensure that your application is being attended to.
- We can also connect you to other service professionals that can assist with your settlement in Australia
It is not compulsory to use a migration agent but if you are unsure about your application or your application is complex or risky then using a migration agent can greatly reduce delays in processing and increase your chance of success.
